Middle Eastern-Style Rice

This is great served together with the Beef Neck Soup, or with anything you wish.

Ingredients:

1/4 cup spaghetti noodles broken into small pieces
2 cups rice (you can use short or long grain)
1 TBSP unsalted butter
1/2 tsp vegetable oil
1/4 tsp salt
2 cups beef broth
1 cup water

1. Melt butter with oil in a cooking pot, once butter is melted add the spaghetti noodles. Cook until the spaghetti begins to turn brown. Add the rice, and cook until it begins to turn colour. Add the beef broth and stir well. Add the cup of water and the salt.
2. Bring the liquid to a boil, then reduce the heat to low, cover and cook for 15-20 minutes until the rice is cooked through.
